Unofficial ServiceNow UX Newsletter | January 2023 Edition
SN UX Things going on at the beginning of 2023.
We’ve seen lots of momentum from ServiceNow on improving the User Experience for their customers. Below are some links that currently have our attention.
theme.deoprototypes.com went offline
The online resource for managing themes, resourcing `--now` variables, hooks, and other design system tools was taken down at the end of last year. Well not so much really taken down but put behind the ServiceNow firewall. The site is referenced in ServiceNow tutorials and will be missed by many. The content from this site will probably make it's way into future ServiceNow releases and the Next Experience Platform Foundation Academy Session #6 Introducing Theme Builder will probably show some great new features related to what theme.deoprototypes.com used to provide
Andrew Pishchulin's Medium Account
Andrew's site has some great posts on the ServiceNow UI from the past couple of years. React in ServiceNow applications (advanced) was a favorite and helped install [ag-grid](https://www.ag-grid.com/) on an instance. Fingers crosseed we see more posts from Andrew in 2023.
What You Need to Know About ServiceNow Single Sign-on & Bonus tips on your Certs and Partner account!
Such a great post from Maria Gabriela Waechter and yes it's from 2022 but we thought lots of people will find value from this. It's important to properly manage your stuff and this post helps tremendously.
ServiceNow REactor
Last but not least we have Reactor 1.3.0 from Sascha Wildgrube. I'll admit that we haven't gone deep into the Reactor world but we're planning to in 2023. It's exciting to think of the possibilities that Reactor can provide.
That's it for our first newsletter. We’ll be getting ready for our next release in February. Feel free to message anytime with submissions.
